BlackBerry Curve

Posted by Santo on 7.20.2011

BlackBerry Curve is an entry-level smartphone manufactured by Research In Motion. It appeared first on the market in 2007 and is still in production today. The Curve 8520 is also the first BlackBerry to have a trackpad.

The BlackBerry Curve 8500 is a series of BlackBerry smartphones in the mid-range developed by Research In Motion. Announced in July 2009 and released the next August, the 8500 has continued the "consumer-driven" philosophy of the BlackBerry Pearl and 8300, including multimedia features and an integrated 2 megapixel camera. BlackBerry terminal was the first to have a touch screen and dedicated keys.

When you are in development, it was considered part of the 9000 series, however, it was revealed to the series 8900 due to the lack of 3G. Unlike the BlackBerry Tour, which is an EV-DO device with A-GPS, a quad-band GSM / EDGE phone. The device is an upgrade over the old 8300 model, the most significant differences compared to the 8300 model is the 3.2 megapixel camera with video camera, a micro USB port, WiFi and the system operation which has been improved with more modern design. The first release was in February 2009 on T-Mobile, but was released on AT & T as well. This phone is known as the Blackberry Javelin Asia

Ahead of the Curve; BlackBerry Curve 8520

Posted by Santo

Another device to start is just around the corner! This time is a new edition of our family BlackBerry Curve using the BlackBerry ® Curve ™ 8520 smartphone! Instead, tell the device itself, I have followed the example of the face and grabbed Becky's part of the time a product manager behind it all: Pankaj.

Can you describe your role at RIM?

I am the product manager for BlackBerry Curve 8520 hands. I define the requirements for the product and work with cross functional teams in the design phase of product development leading to implementation worldwide.

What was the vision for the BlackBerry Curve new?

To provide entry level smartphone, and provide an update BlackBerry Curve 8310/8320 products. I want to show people new smartphone is using the phone mid-level function to step up to the BlackBerry smartphone, which is accessible and meets their lifestyle needs.

Who has been using the camera for a while. What do you like it?

BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphone has some features that are proud of it. It 'easy to carry and use the phone (just like the original). I like the dedicated music keys, and is a sleek and simple, that feels really soft and light. Touch trackpad user navigation is cool - makes navigation easy and really fun. We changed the design of the keys, so they must be integrated into the band, which means once again they are much more stylish and still very functional.

Why is the new trackpad? How it works

We are always looking ahead and exploring new technologies, trying to meet the needs of our customers. The touchpad is a good way for BlackBerry Curve 8520. It emulates a similar experience that we all love and use on our laptops today.

Why Wi-Fi?

We saw the audience for the product and support Wi-Fi ® appeared to be the best option because it allows an enhanced broadband experience. Wi-Fi coverage seems to be everywhere now, so you can enjoy blazing fast browsing on this product.

Black or Frost?

Love the two colors. Frost has a unique blue color of the QWERTY device.

What do you do when you're not managing products?

Spend time with my family - biking, watching movies, playing basketball with children. I love working in the yard of the house too.
