Only a few days after the birthday month of the BlackBerry playbook, the nation's top two carriers are still rather vague acceptance of the device. AT & T has yet accepted the BlackBerry App Bridge, which is converted to tablet Portal for BlackBerry smartphones. Same time, Verizon is not yet convinced should be done by RIM compressed at all.
In response to a survey by the Wall Street Journal on the position of Verizon, Verizon noted spokeswoman Brenda Raney, that "nothing has changed," and offered no timetable for when the decision would be made. Back in March, before the launch playbook, RIM, Verizon included on its list of airlines to offer the 7-inch slate. It is also on this list are AT & T and Sprint, despite the fact that none of them have started selling tablet.
While in the fence behind Verizon, AT & T has not yet approved RIM BlackBerry App bridge. Without it, the play book loses some of its most important features, including email, calendar, contacts and applications. More importantly, without the application of the bridge, the pill can not access a cellular connection, and then has to rely on Wi-Fi. The progress of the approval of the APP, the spokesman for the AT & T said Siegel, "we are still working on it."
AT & T now faces the question of whether or not the Bluetooth connection forged BlackBerry bridge must withstand a load of attaching normal. "The principle is to ensure that [the BlackBerry App Bridge] works well for our customers and whether the detention should be considered," said Siegel.
BlackBerry Bridge mess was particularly poignant for discussion since the launch of the device, most believe in the product a little mean. The discontent of this kind must end soon, however, as RIM will launch a new model playbook with a network connection and native email, contacts and calendar. With a handful of pills iPad Android market is quite strong and dominant race of the tablet, RIM certainly has struggled in that area.
